OUR GOLF PROJECT
Who are we ? Who were the chaperones ?
We are in year 8 (5e F) in Jean Rostand secondary school. We chose that trip because our P.E teacher plays golf at Nantes Erdre.
Our teachers were Mr Le Goff (our PE teacher) and Miss Gailliot (our English teacher). Our guides were Cédric and Christophe on the fairway, moreover Theo learnt us the putting. There are very talented.

How to play golf ?
The rule of the game is to hit the ball with golf clubs and put it into a hole.
We used many different clubs of golf :
The driver: the golf club that you use at the beginning. The putter on the green, and the iron (number 7 and number 9) for the rest.

Description of the golf course:
Golf is a precision sport played outdoors. There are several types of grounds like:
–The green and the putting: it is the short mowed grass area of the course, where the goal is to send a ball into a hole.
-The fairway: the goal is to send the ball as far as possible.
Our favourite ground is the practice because we shoot a lot of ball far away.

How the day went :
On friday 21th May and on friday 11th june, We left school at 8:15, we went to the blue green, a golf club. We went there by tram and by bus. Mr. Legoff did three different groups and he explained what we had to do and the material. In first we played on the green, then on the fairway.

Did we like it ?
Everybody in the class loved golf because it’s a really cool sport, and its location is very beautiful. We liked to do the long shot. We shot a hundred meters. We liked the teachers, they were cool ! This sport changes from the other sports, we did’t run so we didn’t get tired, moreover it was very fun !!
