Erasmus days
Eramus+ est un programme d’échanges et de formations qui permet aux jeunes Européennes, Européens et à leurs professeur.e.s d’étudier et de se former dans différents collèges, lycées et universités d’Europe. Après une participation au Consortium académique en 2021-22, le collège Jean Rostand a obtenu l’accréditation Erasmus+ (2022-2027) pour les élèves et l’ensemble de la communauté éducative.
Eramus+ is an exchange and training program that allows young Europeans and their teachers to study and train in different middle schools, high schools and universities in Europe. After participating in the Academic Consortium in 2021-22, Jean Rostand College has obtained Erasmus+ accreditation (2022-2027) not only for students but for the entire educational community belonging to Jean Rostand middle school. eTwinning
Le collège Jean Rostand utilise eTwinning, la plateforme européenne qui offre aux équipes éducatives la possibilité de mener des projets d’échanges à distance avec leurs élèves à l’aide des outils numériques. eTwinning fait partie du programme européen, Erasmus+.
Jean Rostand College uses eTwinning, the European platform that offers educational teams the possibility of conducting distance exchange projects with their pupils using digital tools. eTwinning is part of the European program, Erasmus+ and Eramus days.
Eramus days
Afin de promouvoir l’ouverture à l’international, le collège participe aux Erasmus days, avec de nombreuses activités permettant de mieux connaître l’Europe et les opportunités offertes par l’Union européenne en matière d’éducation et de solidarité.
In order to promote international openness, the school participates in the Erasmus days, with many activities to learn more about Europe and the opportunities offered by the European Union in education and solidarity.
Mobilités ERASMUS
En 2022, 7 enseignantes et la CPE ont réalisé des mobilités en Espagne, Suède, Islande et Italie. Il s’agissait essentiellement de formations réunissant des enseignants européens, et en Suède d’un stage d’observation (ou Job shadowing) de 15 jours dans un établissement scolaire, en vu d’une mobilités élèves.
In 2022, 7 teachers and the CPE (Principal Educational Adviser) carried out mobilities in Spain, Sweden, Iceland and Italy. These were mainly training courses bringing together European teachers. In Sweden a 15-day observation period (or job shadowing) was done in a school, with a view to student mobility.
En 2023, les élèves de 4e CLEA (Culture et Langue Etrangère Anglais) du collège Jean Rostand sont accueillis en Suède à Härnösand, une semaine en février et les élèves élus du CA – CVC accueillent un groupe d’élèves grecs en avril. Les thèmes retenus pour ces 2 échanges sont «Let’s be greener» et «Ensemble pour tous / All together». 1 enseignante réalise une mobilité aux Canaries (cours structuré) et 2 enseignantes en Croatie (job shadowing).
In 2023, the 4th grade CLEA (a particular class that takes place once a week, where Language English is taught to students selected from other 4th grade classes of the middle school) students of the Jean Rostand middle school were welcomed in Sweden in Härnösand for a week in February. The elected students of the CA – CVC welcomed a group of Greek students in April. The themes chosen for these 2 exchanges are « Let’s be greener » and « Ensemble pour tous / All together ». 1 teacher is going to the Canary Islands (structured course) and 2 teachers in Croatia (job shadowing).
Other teachers mobilites are also in the pipeline, one trip to Italy Bologna, teachers’ mobility and another one to Ahaus in Germany students’ mobililty, provided that they get approved by the School committee in charge of approving different projects.
